Tower Site Details - California
Sierra Peak Facility
Our Sierra Peak site is located on the east end of the peak, overlooking Corona from a ground elevation of 3045 feet. The radio equipment is located inside the radio building with a self supporting tower immediately adjacent to the building. The radio room has ample power, air conditioning and has racks and cable trays installed. All equipment is mounted in open frame racks due to space constraints, however there is a small amount of space for radios in cabinets. There is a high security door on the building.

The site has a 360 degree view from the top of the tower. However, Sierra Peak is the lowest eak in the Cleveland National Forest, thus making the coverage to the southeast marginal since you are looking over the top of the mountains in that direction. Sierra has excellent coverage of the inland empire, especially Corona. It also covers the 91 freeway corridor extremely well. Additional coverage includes LA, parts of the San Fernando Valley and Orange County. Sierra Peak does not work well into southern Orange County area south of San Juan Capistrano due to terrain shielding.

At Sierra Peak MRA Offers:
